Pricing scenario
For a 25-person SG F&B team across 3 outlets:
- FlexiWork Growth: S$90.30/month (30% off for 3 months) or S$129/month standard. All 3 outlets included.
- Deputy: 25 users at base tier roughly US$100-150/month (S$135-200), plus payroll integration costs if needed.
At 50 users:
- FlexiWork Pro: S$139.30/month (30% off) or S$199 standard.
- Deputy: 50 users ~ US$200-300/month (S$270-405).
The flat-fee model favours growing businesses. The per-user model can be cheaper at very small team sizes (under 10).
SG localisation
Deputy is a mature, well-built global product. The Singapore localisation includes SG public holiday calendar, configurable OT rules and PDPA-aware data handling. CPF is handled via integration with payroll partners (KeyPay, etc.) rather than natively in Deputy.
FlexiWork is built ground-up for Singapore. SG OT (1.5x), the S$2,600 OT threshold, the 72-hour OT cap, public holiday calculations and rest-day rules are built-in defaults — not configurations. CPF logic, including graduated rates for new PRs and the wage thresholds, are native.
In practice both products can be made to work for SG. FlexiWork takes you there out of the box; Deputy requires more configuration and a payroll partner.
Feature comparison
Roster building
Deputy's roster UI is mature and feature-rich. Auto-scheduling, smart suggestions, deep template support. FlexiWork's Rosta is clean and SG-focused. For day-to-day rostering, both work well.
Time and attendance
Deputy has been refining clock-in/out for over a decade. The kiosk and mobile clock-ins are slick. FlexiWork's clock-in is functional and integrated tightly with PayOut. Deputy edges this category on raw feature depth.
Pay and CPF
Deputy is roster-and-time-tracking with payroll typically handled by a partner. FlexiWork includes PayOut, which calculates pay including SG OT, PH, rest days and CPF natively. If you want one platform that takes you from roster to bank file, FlexiWork is the more complete answer.
Integrations
Deputy has a deeper integrations ecosystem (POS, accounting, payroll) reflecting its scale. FlexiWork has a focused integration set covering the SG essentials. If you need integration with a specific niche tool, check first.
Support
FlexiWork support is SG-based. Deputy support is global, with local presence varying.
